Just a short little update...the nausea seems to be passing but here comes the heartburn! Thank God for Zantac and Pepto Bismol.
I have been doing a lot of reading lately in my Everything You Need to Know about Babies books and I have been learning a lot. Did you know that at 17 - 20 weeks of pregnancy your baby can actually hear your voice and can distinguish different voices. Wow that is so amazing! Joel and I have been singing to the baby everything from "Itsy Bitsy Spider" to "Far Away" by Nickelback yea this kid is going to be well rounded. I talk to him/her a lot more now and I've promised we will have a name picked at really soon.
Another cool fact I learned is that at this stage the baby is having frequent hiccups which is a way for them to strengthen their breathing system but you can't feel or hear it because they are breathing liquid right now. Pretty cool huh.
Everyone keeps saying I need to post pictures of my growing belly. I haven't taken very many pictures of myself in a while so I will work on that. Here is a picture of me and some friends from about 2 weeks ago. We met at a club in Downtown Fort Worth. I drank my Sprite while everyone else drank beer and mixed drinks. It was nonsmoking for the most part so that made it a pretty nice place for a pregnant woman to be on a Saturday night.

Well this is the best I can do right now, I think my boobs stick out farther then my belly does. I started wearing maternity shirts because they are so cute and super comfortable but I am still wearing my regular pants. I will take more pictures soon I promise.
Lots of Love!
