Logan's Nursery

Hey everyone we finally finished the nursery and it turned out so cute if I say so myself here are a couple of pictures:

We decided to do the nursery in Classic Pooh. Joel and Jean did all of the painting and they did a wonderful job I don't think pros could have done better. We did end up making some changes after the first coat of paint we up. I originally wanted blue on top a stripe of yellow in the middle and green on bottom but after we painted the yellow it was way too bright and I decided I didn't like it so we painted over it here is what it originally looked like the blue stripe in the middle of the yellow is painter's tape:

It doesn't look that bright in the picture but it was too bright so Joel painted over it and then Joel and I added the border which wasn't easy let's just say there was a lot of cussing going on in there that day.

My dad bought us the crib which I picked out at Babies R Us and the dresser we just moved from out guest bedroom and just took the mirror off. I haven't hung anything on the walls yet I am still looking around for cute Classic Pooh and other stuff to put up.

I have my next doctor's appointment on Thursday August 30th but I went on Tuesday to the hospital blood lab to do the 1 hour glucose test to check for Gestational Diabetes. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The stuff they gave me to drink tasted just like orange soda it was actually pretty good. I haven't had a soda in so long and I love Sunkist orange soda so I actually enjoyed drinking it. It was super sweet though. I had to wait an hour and then get my blood drawn so I wondered around the hospital. I went up to the third floor and hung out at the nursery for a while and watched the babies there were only two there that day. Then I got kind of lost coming back to the lab those hospitals are like mazes. She drew my blood and that was it I haven't gotten the results back yet which I think means everything is normal because if there was a problem I think Dr. Webster would have called.

Everything had been going pretty good so far I have been just trying to stay cool and get as much rest as I can. We haven't done too much lately since it has been so hot but we did go to the Nickelback, Daughtry, and Puddle of Mudd concert on the 19th. It was Joel, my brother-in-law Jason, my other brother-in-law Jeff, and myself. Here is a picture of Joel, Jason, and myself:

We had a pretty good time it was really load though and Logan kicked and moved around the entire time I hope I haven't permanently damaged it little ears. It wasn't too hot so overall it was pretty fun I defiantly recommend seeing them in concert if you ever get the chance.

Well, that is all I have for now see you again soon!
