Big Baby Boy

Well, I had my latest doctors appointment on Thursday, August 30th and it went really well. Everything seems to be normal. Dr. Webster says that my weight is normal and my blood pressure was the best it has been since I got pregnant. His heartbeat sounded wonderful and was in the high 140s which she said was great. she also measured my belly nothing new right well this time she looks in the magic chart and tells me that I am measuring big...oh my what does that mean! She said she is going to make my insurance pay for one more sonogram and take a look so we scheduled it for two weeks on September 13th. I asked her if that meant that he may come earlier than we expected and she just grinned and said lets talk in two weeks. So it is quite possible that we may get to meet our son sooner then expected but I guess we won't know for sure until after the sonogram in two weeks.

I am feeling pretty good and I am actually getting used to having to sleep on my left side so I guess I am sleeping a little better. I still get up about 3-4 times a night to pee but other then that I guess I can't complain. Logan is an active little boy though he moves around a lot. Every once in a while I can see him moving an elbow or foot across my belly and it feels so funny. Joel asked me if I was going to miss being pregnant and I told him that I think I will only because there is something really awesome about feeling your baby moving around inside you and not only that but when he is inside my belly I know he is safe and I can protect him. I feel like nothing can hurt him but I'm sure I am not the only mom that has felt this way. The world is a big scary place and I have no idea how you are supposed to keep your babies safe while their out in it.

It looks like I am going to be going to see the doctor every two weeks for the next month or two so I should be updating my blog more often. Keep us in your prayers as we are keeping you in ours.

Awwwww. You are already that nervous mom type and he is still in your growing belly. Trust me, it gets worse. You will be such a great mom... you had an excellent teacher in Pam. Take care...
