Dr. Webster did not change my due date she said that I am right on track and when we are a couple of weeks out we will do some more measurements and if she feels he is too big to deliver vaginally then we will discuss other birth options then...YIKES! Right now he weighs between 3.8 and 4.8 lbs and she was thinking he could easily be a 9 lbs baby.
My blood pressure was normal and I gained 1 lb for a whopping grand total of 10 lbs, yep that is the total I have gained since I got pregnant. I was quite shocked when she told me that I thought for sure it was going to be a lot more then that especially now since it seems I can't get enough to eat lately.
Since my last blog entry Joel and I have been to 2 childbirth classes and we have 2 to go. I think they are very informative and a little intimidating Joel doesn't really like going but he has been great and even though he feels silly and embarrassed to do some of the massage and breathing exercises he has tried and that is all I can ask I really do love him. They of course showed the scary natural birth video the first night and that freaked me out a little. I am planning on having an epidural but holy crap that looked painful! I would love to do it natural but I am no hero and after that incident with that pesky little kidney stone I don't think I would be able to endure that kind of pain for hours. They talked about when to come to the hospital and there is just a lot to remember and I know when it actually happens I will forget everything that talked about.
My 32nd birthday was on Sept 7th and Joel and I went to the Ranger game with a lot of the other Irving firefighters and their families. We had a lot of fun. This year's birthday was pretty low key. Here we are at the game.
My next appointment is on Thursday, September 27th so more news to follow.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! I knew it was your birthday and I was thinking of you on your special day... does that count? Congratulations on everything going so well. Sounds like you are going to have a BIG, bouncing, baby boy. Good luck w/that. We went to the Ranger game just recently too. It may have even been on the 7th. Wouldn't that have been weird? Anyways, take it easy girl, get lots of rest, and enjoy the alone time you guys have together for now.
